TP married May White at University Church, St.Stephen's Green, Dublin on 30th May, 1955. Later that day they would fly to London and then on to Spain, their honeymoon destination.
Among those featured in the group shot below are TP's mother and father, his sisters: Sally, Bernadette, Angela and Imelda; his brothers: Raphael, John and Peter (boys in shorts) while May's family includes her father, her sister Alice (and husband Eddie O'Byrne) her brother Sean (and wife, Mary) and unseen, because he was the photographer for the occasion, brother Liam.
TP's best man was his lifetime friend, Michael Coffey, and sneaking in on the right are fellow actors Milo O'Shea and Donal Donnelly.
