TP, seen here on location for the US mini-tv series - Holocaust - in 1977, looking altogether smug and self-satisfied as 'Colonel Blobel', though that was far from the reality of the matter. The production was filmed in and around Vienna and TP and his 'fellow SS officers', including Ian Holm, David Warner, Tom Bell and Edward Hardwicke, were chilled to discover that their costumes had been tailored by a firm who had made SS uniforms, for real, during the Nazi occupation of Austria.
